Kawartha Plastic Surgery is pleased to offer consultation and treatment of benign skin lesions including but not limited to:
- Skin Tags
- Moles (Nevi)
- Lipomas (fatty tumors) up to 10 cm
- Cysts
If you have questions or would like a consultation regarding any of these conditions regarding functional or cosmetic treatment please contact the office or have your family physician send a referral.
Please note that a referral for benign lesions is not required however there is a fee for consultation if no referral is made. Please also note that OHIP does not cover the surgical treatment of benign skin and subcutaneous lesions even in cases of pain or functional impairment.
